Somebody Cares Ministries is based on a Holistic Community Kingdom Transformation Model. This offers an opportunity for every member of a community to be a part of their development and future self-sustainability, breaking the generational cycle of poverty. The ministry does so through 4 primary focal areas and 4 additional focal areas.


  • Under-5 Feeding Programs in rural community Early Childhood Development Centres [ECDC]
  • Supporting Child-Headed Homes in peri-urban and rural communities
  • Supporting 60 girls attending Ming’ongo Secondary School
  • Capacity Building for teachers and caregivers in our ECDCs


  • Berean Training for community pastors and other local church leaders
  • Youth Empowerment and Skills Training
  • Caring for Women and Widows
  • Women Skills Training
  • Grace Community Bible Training Centre [GCBTC]


  • Home-Based Care [HBC] for critical patients living with HIV/Aids, TB, cancer and other chronic illnesses through recovered patients who now act as volunteers
  • Patient Transport Funds to collect ARVs
  • HIV Support Groups
  • Selenium and Medication Distribution | Community Pharmacies
  • Safe Motherhood health/family education and skills training for expecting and lactating mothers


  • Trauma counselling for child and adult survivors of Gender-Based Violence [GBV]       
  • Partnering with hospitals, police, and judicial courts to seek justice for GBV survivors
  • Community Awareness on issues of GBV, the Rights of Children, and the Rights of Women
  • Capacity building for community leaders through Chief-to-Chief Training
